Who is responsible

Your 3D files

The calculator reads and analyzes your STEP and STL files in your own browser. Calculating prices uploads no file. To keep your work across a reload, the browser stores the files, the analysis and your choices locally (IndexedDB) for 7 days; “Clear” in the order preview removes them.

Your files are uploaded to us only when you request a binding quote. Then the original files go, together with the parameters of each part (quantity, orientation, finish, color, delivery speed), to our private storage in the European Union (Cloudflare R2), so that we can check them, prepare the quote and print exactly these files. Nobody outside our team can reach them; there is no public link. We keep them for 24 months after the last change of the request. On the account page you can download them and delete the request with its files, as long as it is not yet an order in production.

Your account

Prices need a free account. We store your e-mail address, your name, company, country and, if you enter them, your VAT ID and company ID, together with the result of their check in the EU VIES register (European Commission) and, for Czech companies, in the ARES register (Czech Ministry of Finance). We also store when the account was created and when you last signed in.

You sign in with a 6-digit code that we send by e-mail. The code is stored only as a cryptographic hash and expires after 10 minutes. After signing in, a session cookie (strictly necessary, valid for 30 days) keeps you signed in; we store only a hash of it. A security check by Cloudflare Turnstile protects the sign-in form from automated abuse.

Your quotes

To calculate prices, the calculator sends the measured values of your parts to our server: volume, surface area, dimensions in each build orientation, quantities and the options you choose, with the file names. The prices are calculated on the server. We keep a record of these calculations and of the quotes you request, so that we can answer your requests, see them in your account and prevent misuse of the price calculator.

Visit measurement and your consent

Without asking, we only count visits with our own cookie-less measurement on Cloudflare (page, language, country, referrer site, device type, time on the page and a salted daily hash instead of your IP address, which cannot identify you and changes every day) and with Ahrefs Web Analytics, which also sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses.

Only if you answer “yes” in the consent bar do we also load Google Analytics 4 (in consent mode, IP anonymized) and PostHog, a product-analytics service whose EU project we reach through our own address (sls.market/ph). PostHog may record anonymized session replays in which every input field and form text is masked. Before your “yes”, neither of these is loaded, and nothing is loaded at all if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Your choice is stored only in your browser. You can change it at any time with “Privacy choices” in the page footer.

Your browser also keeps the chosen language and recent searches, and your consent choice, in its local storage; this data never leaves your browser.

Purposes and legal basis

  • Preparing quotes and orders at your request (steps prior to entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Protecting the calculator and our pricing from automated or competitive misuse, and keeping the service secure (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Cookie-less visit counting (our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, only with your consent, Google Analytics and PostHog (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; you can withdraw consent at any time).

Who processes the data for us

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site, the database and the file storage (both in the European Union), the e-mail delivery and the Turnstile security check. Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. provides the cookie-less visit statistics; Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics) and PostHog Inc. (EU data region) process usage data only with your consent. The VAT ID and company ID you enter are sent to the VIES and ARES registers to verify them. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept until you delete your account; quote records for 24 months at most; the files of a requested quote for 24 months after the last change of the request. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes, sessions after 30 days.

Your rights

You can see and correct your details on the account page and delete the account there at any time; this removes your details, your quote records and the files of your requests (an order already in production is kept for the contract). You also have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ, www.uoou.cz).
